The Accounting and Business Consulting (ABC) Program, established by the City of Seattle’s Office of Economic Development, offers Seattle-based small businesses and entrepreneurs free consultations with Technical Assistance (TA) Providers also known as ABC Consultants.
Growing Contigo was selected as one of these ABC Consultants to provide up to 10 hours of free support in the form of one-on-one business consulting sessions small businesses meeting the following criteria:
- Be physically located within Seattle city limits
- Hold an active City of Seattle business license
- Have no more than two (2) locations
- Have 50 or fewer full-time staff
- Generate annual gross revenue under $5 million
The purpose of the ABC Program is to help historically disadvantaged small business owners in such a way they obtain a core understanding of best accounting and business practices to establish and strengthen their accounting and financial systems, grow and expand their business operations, and create more opportunities for long-term wealth building. This Program is not intended to provide ongoing business services by the ABC Consultants to the participants of this program; rather, it provides targeted support so that small businesses can independently manage their own finances, accounting systems, and business operations.
